About Me
I know what it’s like to feel paralyzed by stage fright, to dread singing in front of others, to second-guess every note, to shrink instead of shine.
For years, I struggled with self-doubt, convinced my voice wasn’t good enough. But everything changed when I learned how to work with my voice instead of fighting against it.
Now, with over 20 years of experience, I help singers like you break free from fear and sing with confidence, ease, and joy. Because your voice deserves to be heard—and loved.
I’m Lisa Shaw, and I specialize in helping anxious singers find their voice, trust it, and step onto the stage with confidence.

From Opera Houses to Cabaret Stages—A Life in Music
As a classically trained musician with a career spanning opera, musical theater, and cabaret, I’ve performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages, including Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and the Vienna Staatsoper.
My background includes an international tour as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and extensive experience as a soloist in diverse genres, from classical to jazz.
Beyond the stage, I’ve also worked as a music director and choral conductor, bringing musical storytelling to life for singers of all levels. Whether onstage or in the studio, my passion remains the same—helping voices soar with authenticity, confidence, and artistry.

Bringing Stories to Life Through Paint, Pastel, and Ceramics
As a visual artist, I create work that explores identity, memory, and human connection. My oil paintings and pastels often capture the essence of those who are no longer with us, blending realism with emotional depth.
In ceramics, I focus on playful, expressive pieces that celebrate individuality and representation. My work embraces themes of diversity, visibility, and advocacy, ensuring that art reflects the richness of the world around us.

Expanding Access, Building Programs, and Empowering Artists
With a deep background in arts education and program development, I’ve worked to create meaningful opportunities for musicians and learners of all ages. As Director of Adult Programs at Levine Music, I led initiatives that significantly increased engagement, particularly among older adults.
I also developed and expanded community outreach programs, building partnerships that connected students with transformative musical experiences.
My work extends beyond administration—I’ve also served as a music director, curriculum designer, and mentor, helping organizations and individuals bring creative visions to life.
Whether designing programs, leading teams, or fostering inclusion in the arts, my goal is always the same: to make music education more accessible, engaging, and impactful.
